Responsibilities Perform security patrols and lockdown of the following areas: restaurants, lobby areas, associate entrance, all meeting space, parking areas, guest floors, executive offices, and back-of-house areas. Assist with housekeeping calls. Retrieve breakfast menus from guestroom doors. Deliver express check‑out folios to guestrooms. Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests. Ensure the safety of guests, associates, and hotel property at all times. Maintain courtesy, tact, and firmness when enforcing hotel policies and procedures. Report in writing on all activities during each shift before leaving the hotel, and provide oral reports and emergency notifications as directed by established security procedures. Perform duties assigned by the Director of LP or LP Supervisor. Create and maintain the highest standards of security, demonstrating professionalism in attitude, appearance, and conduct. Monitor associates entering and leaving the hotel; collect all package passes and inspect parcels taken from the hotel. Monitor the back entrance and receiving dock. Confiscate unauthorized parcels and notify the Director of LP and appropriate department head. Check all personnel entering and provide information and direction after proper identification of all job applicants, salesmen, etc.; notify the department head for permission of non‑staff personnel to enter the premises. Requirements Extended periods of standing while patrolling the property or working on a special detail. Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
