• Exciting opportunity to join the research team of a fast-growing asset manager. Entry-level generalist analyst position with the potential to take on significant investment responsibilities at a young age.
\n
• LyonRoss Capital Management is an independent asset manager to a large family client. Currently a seven-person firm based in White Plains, NY. This role is in-office five days/week.
\n
• The Analyst will be an integral member of the investment team, primarily reporting to Senior Analysts and the COO/Head of Research, with interactions across the entire firm.
\n
• The firm invests across strategies and asset classes through both third-party managers (hedge funds, private credit, long only) and direct investments. Medium-term asset allocation research drive our portfolio construction, complimented with bottom-up analysis which identifies specific investments.
\n
• Primary workload will include supporting the monitoring of existing investments, performing due diligence on prospective investments, market and macroeconomic research, assisting in client presentations, operational support, and other ad-hoc projects/tasks as needed.
\n
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to broaden their knowledge of markets, macroeconomics, and long-term investing. A demonstrated interest in these areas is key.
\n
• Outstanding spreadsheet and writing skills are essential.
\n
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, and desire to contribute to the growth and development of a small firm are critical.
\n
• Finance or economics undergraduate degree with strong GPA preferred.
\n
• Target experience: 0-2 years. Preference for past (internship or full-time) experience in finance or related field.
\n
• Target start date: Q4 2026 – end Q2 2027.
\n
