Come join our TJX family—a Fortune 100 company and the world's leading off-price retailer.Job DescriptionThe Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, safety, and shortage root cause analysis. This position will work a variety of ever changing assignments within the department to include roles designed to monitor warehouse access control, gatehouse and distribution control, operations auditing, and internal investigations. Will take direction from our Lead Specialist and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.Schedule Shift: Friday- Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pmResponsibilities:Provide protection of all company assets including people, property, and informationConduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipmentTransact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activitiesMonitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulationsMonitors access control to main warehouse and inbound/outbound freight flowServe as a business partner in the area of operational processes and inventory to reduce shrinkCapacity to handle confidential informationAttention to detailAbility to analyze data and make informed decisionsAction driven, and results orientedDemonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environmentThe Skills That Will Make You Successful:Relevant work experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security and / or a Bachelor's degree, or on track to obtaining a Bachelor's degree in a relevant majorPrior Military or Law Enforcement a plusDemonstrates positive energy, motivation, and flexibilityAbility to successful work both independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites and the ability to learn and use in-house software packages.Strong technical knowledge of CCTV equipment and systemsAbility to work both inside and outside during all types of weatherPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in an industrial setting: warehouse or distribution centerAssociate discount; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); smoking cessation support; bereavement leave; 401(k) Associate contributions; credit union; cell phone discounts.
